Basic Awareness Workshop

With the season coming to a conclusion for everyone, it’s now the time to see if all your coaches are compliant for next season.

As you are probably aware, any person working in a paid or a voluntary capacity in your club with children must complete a Irish Sports Council / FAI approved Basic Awareness Course and be Garda Vetted.

It is the responsibility of all clubs to ensure that this happens.

To help clubs, as a FAI Child Welfare Tutor, Sandra McAuley has arranged some Basic Awareness Courses in the MDL Grounds, Navan.  If the dates don’t suit or you would like Sandra to call to your club to deliver the course, just give Sandra a call 086 9170433.

The training course costs €10 per person and all participants will be issued with their Certificate on the night.  Places on these courses are limited to 20 per night, so should you wish to book a place for any of your club volunteers, please book early.
