Congratulations to our very own Noel Hand who was presented with an Award from his own club Carrick Rovers during the week. On their Facebook page, Carrick Rovers said
Noel Hand, an important member of Carrick Rovers AFC down through the years, receiving the Paddy Cumiskey Cup and Special Merit award for long service to the Club from Mae Cumiskey at the Carrick Rovers AFC Annual Juvenile Presentation.
Noel is also a very valuable and long-serving Committee member of the NECSL.
He is also a very Familiar face to all of our under 11s that play in St Pats where Noel can be found every weekend. In St Pats Noel does not just oversee the games but he teaches the children, numerous time he has stopped play to show the children how to take the kick out or throw. Not just officiate but engage and learn, in Noel’s own Words, “Well its the Coaching Leagues after all”
We are delighted to see Noel honoured in this very much deserved Fashion, Well done Noel.
