Eddie Maher Memorial Tournament 2014‏

We have had an incredible response from teams expressing an interest in taking part, those that have played in this tournament before and also from a huge number of new teams and clubs that haven’t.Due to the phenomenal interest we will now be trying to tie teams down to commit to play in the tournament to avoid disappointment closer to the event of turning teams away.

In recent years we have had teams pull out with as little as a days notice having fully committed to taking part. This is unfair on us trying to organise the event and also the other teams in the Tournament as it is too late then to find a replacement and last minute adjustments are required to run the event.

We will be filling the event in the order of teams having paid and once we reach the required numbers in each section we will then be putting any further teams on a standby list in case of dropouts (any team on standby will obviously only pay if invited to take part).

We want to involve as many teams as possible and as always we request your support in this regard, and hope you understand why we feel that this is necessary, however, this will result in a better tournament for everyone.
