2014 Irish Football National Draw

2014 Irish Football National Draw

See attached info on the FAI National Draw, great chance for your club to raise funds

2014 Irish Football National Draw

1) Background
In 2013, the FAI ran the inaugural Irish Football National Draw to provide a straight forward and risk
free fundraising option for any club or league that wanted to avail of it. The Draw was a huge success
with 400 clubs taking part and more than 100,000 tickets sold. In total the draw raised almost €1
million for grassroots football.

The Draw will take place again in 2014 and will be bigger and better than ever.

2) How it works
a) The FAI organises all prizes, the final draw, printing, licensees, etc.
b) Clubs purchase tickets from the FAI for €1.50 each
c) Clubs sell the tickets for €10 each
d) All money from all tickets sold is kept by the club

3) Benefits to the club
Ready made fundraising option with little or no financial risk to themselves
Minimum order of just 20 tickets, no maximum order
Clubs can order more tickets at any time
Club name will be printed on every ticket
Posters and flyers will also be provided to clubs

4) Draw Details
There are three separate draws that tickets will be entered into:

a) Club Draws
Any club that orders more than 100 tickets will receive bonus prizes just of those who buy tickets
from that club. The FAI will provide the prizes and the club will undertake this draw themselves.

b) Regional Draws
To give each ticket holder the best chance of winning they will first be entered into a regional draw
with prizes just for tickets sold within that region. The four regions are:
• Dublin • Rest of Leinster
• Munster • Ulster and Connaught

c) National Draw
Every ticket will also be entered into a National Draw with a host of additions prizes

– Clubs draw must take place locally some time before the 20th
October.
– The closing date for ticket stubs to be returned to the FAI is 24th
