2010 Boys Interleague Match Report

NECSL 0-0 NDSL
The 2010 boys put in an outstanding performance in a windswept MDL against an NDSL side who had beaten them 3-0 before Christmas. There was to be no repeat of that scoreline this evening with the home side on the back of a nine game-winning run and confident of their chances against their lofty rivals.

Playing into a gale force wind in the first half the home side created multiple chances with two clear cut openings not taken. In the second half with the strong wind at their back the NECSL dominated the travelling side and created opening after opening but some how failed to take any of them. It would be difficult and unfair to name any individual performances as the group in total were excellent tonight. The NECSL now know what they need to do to top this Interleague group and that is to try and better the result that the NDSL produced over the Midlands second side. We look forward to the away trip on the 24th of April.
