NECSL Competitive Leagues 2015/2016 – Application procedures & Key dates

APPLICATIONS PROCESS 

Instead of sending out application forms to each club to affiliate for next season, we are implementing the following process. 

We currently hold all details of clubs on our database compiled from 2014/2015 entry forms. We will issue to every club their relevant data in spreadsheet format next week.  

 The spreadsheet is to be reviewed and updated with the 2015/2016 team entries, Managers, Club officers, Garda Reference, Basic Awareness, Insurance details. Please adhere to lay out on spreadsheet.

 We have removed the current U16 girls and U17 boys teams from the spreadsheets as they will be overage this season.

 We have also removed all coaching league teams excluding the U11 boys & U12 girls teams. 

 Team Entries apply to Boys U12 – U17 and Girls U14 & U16 only.

 The updated spreadsheet will be the Club’s application for affiliation to NECSL 2015/2016 and should be emailed back to Formation@nerl.ie before 31st July 2015. 

DEPOSIT

 A deposit of 200.00 euro made payable to NECSL Treasurer and posted to 

 NECSL Office, MDL Grounds, Trim Road, Navan, Co. Meath before 31st July 2015.

 FORMATION MEETING

 The NECSL Formation meeting for competitive leagues will take place on Wednesday 19th August 2015 in the Ardboyne Hotel Navan at 8.00 pm.

 Prior to the meeting a presentation will be made to the successful ETP Kennedy Cup Squad at 6.30 pm followed by tea/coffee etc.

 SEASON

 The season to commence w/e 5th September 2015. 

 Once again the provision of an U17 League will depend on the number of applications received and the impact of proposed NEFL U18 League.

 Please note: U12 will be competitive and 9 a side format. A maximum panel of 16 players and 16 x 6 goals. Pitch format will follow in due course when FAI Development Plan Booklet on Recommendations 1 & 2 is issued. 

 COACHING LEAGUES

 Coaching Leagues will be dealt with separately at a later date as we are reviewing the impact of FAI Development Plan on underage small sided games formats and await the publication of the booklet.
